This is not really a redraw, but it's a redesign based off something I drew back in October of 2014! Also the quality severely dropped when I uploaded this.

This is made to be a companion piece with the Archangel Luna drawing I did a while ago. it's also conveniently wallpaper sized!

I spend around 5-7 hours on it. The drawing itself has 51 layers but amazingly the background (Space and sky) was only one layer xD

I took TinyBitOfHeaven 's advice from the Archangel Luna drawing and made the lighting more contrasting, to show that she is lit from the back.

This version of Celestia is what happens when Celestia gets taken over with dark magic, similar to Luna with Nightmare Moon. I didn't really give her a weapon, since she seems to look cooler without one, but if you look closely enough at her front hooves, she has fake claws on two of them, and the other two has magic. Like Luna, she has transcended from using magic with her horn and is able to channel magic to any part of her body.
